Upon entering our office, you will be greeted by one of our wonderful staff. Check in at the front desk to sign yourself in and let our staff know that you’re a new patient with us so that they can give you the assistance you need.
We ask that you arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled appointment time so that you have time to check in, verify insurance information and watch our new patient video. Our new Patient Paperwork can be found below and should be completed prior to your arrival. You will be asked to watch a short video on Chiropractic so that you’re better prepared once it’s time to meet your doctor. If using insurance, please be sure to bring your insurance card. If you have copies of x-rays, MRIs or reports from previous doctors, please give them to our staff so that they can be given to your doctor for review.
Once check in is complete you will be taken to one of our 5 treatment rooms where you will meet your doctor to discuss your health history and current problem. Your doctor will perform an examination and assess your spine. They will then perform a report of findings to explain what they have found during the exam and if Chiropractic can be of help to you. If so, they will discuss what to expect in terms of outcomes and length of treatment. Provided it safe to do so, based on your history and examination, you will receive treatment at that time. If your doctor finds it necessary, you may be sent for x-rays or other imaging before being treated. If you have questions along the way regarding the exam or what to expect during the adjustment, please ask!
At the conclusion of your visit, your doctor may give you specific instructions on things to do at home, such as applying ice or heat or performing certain stretches or exercises. You will then be taken back to our front desk where you will check out, schedule your next appointment and receive a new patient “Welcome Bag.” This is a great time to make sure that we have your current email address for appointment reminders and our monthly health newsletter!
