Welcome! If you’re new to our chiropractic offices, here’s what you can expect on your first visit.

Upon entering our office, you will be greeted by one of our wonderful staff. Check in at the front desk to sign yourself in and let our staff know that you’re a new patient with us so that they can give you the assistance you need. New patient paperwork is emailed to you ahead of time to be completed, in order to make your first visit as smooth as possible.

We ask that you arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time. You will watch a short video on chiropractic so that you’re better prepared once it’s time to meet your chiropractor. If using insurance, please be sure to bring your insurance card. If you have copies of x-rays, MRIs or reports from previous doctors, please give them to our staff so that they can be given to your doctor for review.

Next, you will meet your doctor to discuss your health history and reason for care.  They will perform an examination and assess your spine to determine if chiropractic can be of help to you. If so, they will discuss what to expect in terms of outcomes and length of treatment. Provided it safe to do so, based on your history and examination, you will receive treatment at that time. If your doctor finds it necessary, you may be sent for x-rays or other imaging before being treated. If you have questions along the way regarding the exam or what to expect during the adjustment, please ask!

At the conclusion of your visit, your chiropractor may give you specific instructions on things to do at home, such as applying ice or performing certain exercises. You will then be taken back to our front desk where you will check out, schedule your next appointment and receive a new patient “Welcome Bag.”

We have the greatest respect for your time and in order to help our doctors stay on schedule for you, we ask that you arrive promptly for your appointments. If you are late, you may be asked to wait or to reschedule if the doctor is unable to fit you in. A $30 fee will be assessed to your account for missed appointments or appointments canceled with less than 24 hours notice, as this removes the opportunity for other patients to receive care during your missed time slot. We appreciate your help in keeping our offices running on time!
