Lisa Maderer, MS, OTR/L, AOMT-C

Lisa Maderer is a licensed Occupational Therapist and certified Myofunctional Therapist with a passion for supporting children in achieving optimal oral-motor function and overall development. With a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from D’Youville College and additional certification in orofacial myofunctional therapy through Academy of Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy, Lisa specializes in evaluating and treating children with oral-motor, feeding, fine motor and sensory processing related challenges. She works closely with families, therapists, lactation specialists, chiropractors and dental professionals to create individualized, play-based therapy plans that address habits such as mouth breathing, tongue thrust and thumb sucking. Lisa is dedicated to empowering children and their families with tools that support lasting functional change, improved play and social development with improved quality of life.
